Ownership stays with the driver
Guyanese drivers who own their vehicle can earn from it directly through our network, instead of being limited to driving someone else's asset for a wage.
Local content & community
Local content is not a box we tick on a tender. It is the reason the company exists in this form — a Guyanese business designed so that drivers and small vehicle owners can participate in the energy sector on fair terms.
Status
Cunnectly Inc. qualifies as a Guyanese company as defined in the Local Content Act No. 18 of 2021. Our application for inclusion in the Local Content Register, with supporting documentation, has been submitted to the Local Content Secretariat under registration IDR-2126 and is currently under review. We will publish confirmation here on receipt.
Our model
Guyanese drivers who own their vehicle can earn from it directly through our network, instead of being limited to driving someone else's asset for a wage.
Drivers are paid on approved completion via MMG, and monthly-assigned drivers are paid weekly — regardless of where the client sits in its own payment cycle.
Where we take over a contract, existing drivers on that account are given first preference subject to vetting. Passengers keep the driver they trust, and nobody loses their income because a contract changed hands.
A recurring failure among transport providers in this market is the inability to pay drivers the amounts set out in their signed contracts, because the provider itself is waiting on a disputed invoice. The driver absorbs a cash-flow problem they had no part in creating, and service quality degrades from there. Our trip-level invoicing exists in large part to break that chain: when invoices are not disputed, they are paid, and when they are paid, drivers are paid.
Community
Cunnectly facilitates an annual Christmas toy drive and distribution for children across several Guyanese communities, bringing some festive spirit to families during the season.
We will be straightforward about the rest: as a company incorporated in November 2024, we have not yet participated in formal sustainability programmes in Guyana. We would rather state that plainly than claim a record we have not built. As the business grows, our contribution will be in workforce development — training, certification and income for Guyanese drivers — because that is where we can make a real difference rather than a symbolic one.
Drivers & vehicle owners
We are building a national database of professional drivers and vehicle owners across Guyana. Register as a driver, as a driver with your own vehicle, or as a vehicle owner renting to us. It costs nothing and places you in the pool we recruit from when contracts are awarded.
